Today’s children. Tomorrow’s skills. Future prospects.
The Humber EBP is working in partnership with Stephen Logan to organise our first inspirational Labour Market Information event focusing on STEAM. Stephen is a Tidal TSA Specialist Leader of Education, his work over recent years as an Enterprise Champion has raised the profile of the city and inspired countless pupils to achieve success. The STEAM conference will feature a line up of excellent speakers from local businesses and the City of Culture team.
One of the highlights of the day will undoubtedly be the keynote speech by Phil Jones, Managing Director of Brother UK. A 25 year veteran of the I.T industry, he’s witnessed the birth of the internet, bluetooth, mobile phones and cloud computing. He is a truly inspiring speaker and alongside local business representatives he will highlight the importance of STEAM for young people as well as industry.
