Rebecca Whitton – Cleeve
Rebecca is currently the Assistant Headteacher at Cleeve Primary. Her main roles involve leading the curriculum, CPD and quality first teaching. Rebecca is highly motivated and committed to driving standards to ensure that children have the best possible opportunities.
Rebecca has experience of teaching in all year groups but is currently teaching in year 6.
Previously Rebecca has been responsible for literacy and key stage 1. Her past experience also includes working as a lead literacy teacher for the authority which involved her supporting other teachers with their literacy planning and teaching.
Rebecca is highly experienced in leading whole school training with a literacy focus. Her sessions have covered all aspects of literacy but more recently the focus has been on GPS. Through her training and support she has contributed significantly to the career development and enhanced role of support staff in school.
Rebecca has been heavily involved in gaining the quality mark for basic skills.
