School leadership development is accelerated when emerging and aspiring leaders have opportunities to practice leadership in different context and mentored by able and experienced senior leaders. We are developing robust systems to identify talent from emerging careers to fast track candidates through bespoke and nationally accredited training.
Tidal Teaching School work alongside Carnegie Leaders in Learning to deliver professional development to schools, including the NPQH, NPQML and NPQSL. This programmes can be organised for groups or clusters of schools and take place within Tidal schools.

With coaching a fundamental element of their leadership programmes, they strengthen school leadership by enabling teaching and support staff to develop essential skills. Tidal have also developed our own bespoke leadership development course in partnership with Dave Harris (@bravehead), author of ‘How to lead a school without selling your soul.’ The course content includes:
