In May 2014 Bridgeview/Whitehouse moved into our brand new £3.5 million purpose-built, state-of-the-art building on Pickering Road. After a lot of hard work and a few sleepless nights we completed the move from our old site in a little more than a week (and we did it all ourselves).  As the summer term comes to a close staff and pupils are now settling in and enjoying all of our fantastic new facilities.

Our new classrooms are spacious and well-equipped and all open out on to their own patio area. We have climbing frames and play equipment on our two playgrounds and a large multi-use games area. Our younger children have a suite of classrooms which open out onto an enclosed balcony providing them with their very own play area. We have a dining room and a kitchen fully equipped for cooking hot meals on site, a conference room and a training suite.         We also have a wonderful performing arts space which boasts a huge screen and projector, and a sound system and lighting rig that wouldn’t look out of place in any professional arts venue.

Our new school is all part of the vision we have for our children. We are both a day school for children with social, emotional, and mental health issues and a pupil referral unit.   Working in partnership with parent/carers, external agencies and a range of schools we will guide and support our children towards a purposeful and successful future.
